anyone know what a RC30 SP front end would be worth?
im told there was only approx 30 of these made as it has factory showa forks, brembo mono block calipers, and a marchesie front wheel with brembo 320mm discs, everything including the disc`s have honda sp stamped on them.
Its currently fitted to a moto rumi race bike which back in the day was a very rare but trick bit of kit.

is that that purple bike that was doing the rounds a few years ago ? Never heard of an RC30 SP, sounds like someone is pulling a fast one (could be wrong though). The ultra trick bikes ones of which there were a less than a few made were Japanese factory bikes ridden in the TT by Foggy and Hislop. The std bikes were mega bucks and then the HRC kit parts were extra

  there was also a small production run done for the marshalls to use at Suzuka - I believe these were called SP's and were also differentiated from the 'normal' ones due to their all white paint scheme.

I did a lot of research a few years back as I was in the market for one; if you give me a couple of days to try and remember I'll let you know

its my mates bike, yes its the purple one. Im 99% sure he`s right, i did a search and the RC30 SP was japan only but cant find much more out than that.
I`v got the chance to buy the bike at a bargain price, but im sure the front end is worth a fair bit.  I`ll get some pics, but its a very trick looking bike (for an old bike)
