I think Dave stopped and let it down himself as he knew that I'd leave him for dead on the dual carriageway  [whistle]   [rofl] [rofl]

Aww man you're funny  [rofl] [rofl] you know how fast that bike is

Nah it's not a faulty valve, that's the first thing he checked out. It could possibly be one of a couple of things - tyre running too hot and flexing a bit when I went over a pothole, or the wheel/tyre moving out of sync.

:pottytrain2:   didn't see you pass me though  [naughty]  [whistle]    [rofl] [rofl]

seriously though, that's a fekker as it could bloody do it again, are you sure that the valve cap is good and isn't allowing the valve to depress at high speed  :tongue3:  but like you say it might have been due to your bad lines hitting a pothole or similar, the tyre was really hot wasn't it but surely it  shouldn't move on the rim to lose pressure, oh well fingers crossed it'll be ok for next time.

Now that's got me thinking about running low pressures on the road maybe I need to up the pressure a bit  :dontknow:
