i did see this last night on ebay and yes seems very dodgy but at the end of the day if you buy it via ebay your arse is covered.
it might be dodgy or he could just be a complete plank who dont know what he`s doing,
regards the frame engine numbers, my bike has never been checked at any race meet, although my bike was bought from almost new and has v5.

personally it would`nt bother me having a race track bike without frame numbers as long as know what ths bikes history is.
