The salt is already here in central Scotchland???
Council will do the same as they do every year......run out before they really need it in February!
On the plus side, there is enough rain here to wash it away during the day, so all year biking is poss without your pride and joy dissolving overnight in the garage.  :-P

Well I may be turning soft, I've just said I'll buy a car for the winter, just a cheap hack with TAX & MOT till April.

It'll save the salt which they've also used here last night and the mileage, 6000 miles since August

Not at all, I've ridden for 3 years and covered about 45,000 miles on 3 different bikes and loved every minute of it.  Never get saddle sore neither, probably cos I'm a shortarse.  [rofl]

Respect pal, that's a lot of biking  :icon_thumright:

I'm mainly riding for pleasure now, in fact I don't even do 45000 miles in 3 years between the car and bikes together.

Maybe I need to get out more.  [rofl]
