Cat B............bike cannot be returned to road but parts can be sold off. If that's the original frame which it looks like then it's illegal for the road. Looks like he's taken the details from a ZX6F (circa 1996) and used them on his frame.

If he's done a neat job with the etching then it would fool a non clued up MOT tester and the only time he'd get tugged is if traffic plod knew their stuff.

Wouldn't touch it with yours (as the saying goes).  :tongue3:

Course I could be wrong and it's totally innocent.

It's probably registered on the ZX6 engine which is from a F model hence it being a 600cc rather than a 636cc I would guess, it is at the very best a complete bodge job, it may be a typo and not actually a cat B but who knows. He has a good history on feedback tho so he could be genuine seller however he is very deluded on price I think.

i know the crack with this, the bike is a ringer.
all thats happened is he`s bought a frame with a log book from a breakers, and stamped the number on the c6f frame.
piece of piss to do but unfortunately some poor fucker will buy that.

If its a ringer why would he say its a cat B and why would it be a complete mismatch of bits? Nicked bikes get ringed not breakers.

Beats me !   :dontknow:

But it's deffo not an 'F' model frame & the engine cases aren't F ones either, so the only way it's having an MOT is if the frame's been re-stamped with the number off an F model.
