Warning over 'lethal' quad bikes
« on: October 25, 2008, 11:21:41 AM »

God damned alarmists are on a new crusade, people buying quad bikes, apparently up to 2 people are killed every year on them, i mean WTF

She said of her brother: "He did have a helmet but he didn't wear one that day. We are devastated. He's dead because of the quad."

emm no, he was killed for being stupid enough not te be waring the right equipment not cause the quad blew his head off or something

its the same old story and now she wants to get them all banned becuase they killed her son....told you about this one before, dont start me on it again...its not a reason to ban quads...but this country is so full of this kind of idiocy drummed up by publishers trying to sell newspapers they will print any grieving parents story and want to ruin everyones lives just because of one sad story...

but thats what they want us to be...thats why they want bikes banned, quads banned, trolleys made from pram wheels banned, anything to do with having fun is likely to be a bit dangerous, and there is someone out there trying to ban it...fooking idiots

To some degree we should all be allowed to make our own choices and live our lives how we want as long as we have no impact on others. Our families should respect that choice as well. Where would we be if we had thought it was too dangerous to leave our caves all those years ago ?

there are too many people on the planet...

we have a few choices in reducing the population here they are

death by accident...
death by war...getting more likely by the day
death by government (same as above)
death by disease..bird flu is coming, it killed 80 million in 1918...it could do again...
Sterilization..India and China have tried it...didnt work...
Euthenasia...automatic....your too old so your out of it...lovely...NOT
Euthenasis...voluntary...okay can live with that...
Transportation to another planet...highly possible just that the nearest possible planet is likely to be between 7-25 light years away.  We may need to solve the worm hole opportunities before we try interplanetary transportation as a viable means of population management...but it is coming I hope...

The one that gets my vote is accident...so come on lets stop fretting about safety and get on with our lives because the other methods to me are downright awful...I think the world population should be held at 5 billion instead of the current 6 billion.

Or of course there is the final choice, the planet will die and kill the majority of us anyway......

I admire the surfers in  way, look at the ones that have been eaten by a great white shark or something. The family always says "it wasnt the sharks fault, thats life you know so why hunt down the shark for the guys own stupidity/hunt for fun"
