What was your best time.

 what were you riding????
A cannonball
That's a quick time, I'd be happy to get into the 10's.
I wheelspun for a good bit before I had good traction.
Great fun though. :icon_thumright:

Phil rides an old mans bike on the drag tracks [whistle] and goes very well as you can guess :icon_thumright:

Yep, I was right, it is a cannonball.
Ali Norval was running an old GSX with nitro and got into the mid 9's.
He is starting up a bike club at Crail next year, 8 rounds, different catagories.
There may be a 10r class, worth a go. :icon_thumright:

That start was awful mate
They dont let cars up against bikes at Santa Pod, did 11.4 on my K1 GSXR 600 on my 1st visit

Crail is okay but is really just a disused run down airstrip and is very bumpy for bikes.
Very few bikes go there so it looks like you would mostly have to run against cars which is not always good as some of the dedicated 1/4 mile cars there had no cooloing fans so they dumped water on the start line, hence the wheelspin!
I'll go back next year though, very addictive fun and a cheap day of motorsport. Hopefully there may be a club starting next year.
