Having investigated the Husky avenue, me thinks they could be a bit fragile for what i'll be getting up to, as the enphasis has moved more towards off roading/green laning, been told it can also keep you fairly fit  :icon_thumright:

We have discovered an old friend owns a farm and is well into his off roading, he has offered us the use of a good few acres :occasion14:

So i'm now looking for a lightweight off roader which could be used as a supermoto, 2 favourites are Honda XR400 and Yamaha WR400  :icon_thumleft:

I can tell you that the wr400 can take some abuse, My friend just rode one last year from cape town in sa to amsterdam.  I had a little play with it a few times and its a nice enuff bike, really great for pulling you up hills and pretty light (lighter than my xt600 anyway:))
