  I'm doing this every day  Some 30mph limits shouldn't be 30 limits though to be fair, but hey hands up, I am a fucking nob    but not that much of a fucking nob coz I don't do them though speed cameras. 3 points for lack of control  I think that's an example of good control.. maybe thats just me

30 limits are there for reasons,any one who speeds in a 30 mph is a fooking nob jockey, now i know we all speed but not it towns,villages.

20 and 30mph speed limits are mostly antiquated speed limits...cars and bikes at 30mph stop on a dime, a car will basically stop in its own length...go out and try it...a bike in a few feet...okay there is thinking distance and other stuff but what it is really all about is the fact that people do stupid things in villages and walk across the road expecting you to see them and stop...its the drivers fault not the pedestrian....

Actually the stats and I am a bit rusty on them these days and cant be bothered to checdk, but almost all pedestrian deaths are the fault of the pedestrian...however the law decides that speed is the problem and therfore wants slower speed limits in towns and villages, ie 20mph so stupid people dont get killed when hit by the car or the car driver, who has insurance can be blamed and money extracted...or a jail sentence dolled out and the law seen to be good...

Its all about manipulation of the people...

The problem is you cant regulate or licence people(as much as the government would like to) Kids will run out etc and its not a case of you being able to stop in time even if you can stop on a dime, you will hit them and the fact is that a lot less people die being hit at 20 or 30 miles an hour than at 40.  So the way i see it is that USUALLY the 20 or 30 limit is there for a reason(ok maybe not the 20), there are a few places where it shouldnt be and that just encourages people to ignore where its reasonably put, but the fact remains that if you are doing 85 on 1 wheel through a 30 limit you are a dick (i will admit to probably having been a dick at times)

who has kids? how would you feel if you was about to cross the road with your kids and a bike came pass at speed? think about it.
like i say we all speed but not in towns or villages, anyone who speeds in a 30 is a selfish c*nt, there just is no need, yes i have no problem with speeding on open roads but not anywhere where there could be kids.

There are enough "60" mph roads around our country to negate the need to EVER speed in a 30mph zone. If you speed past my house where my two young daughters are around then i will have something to say. Even if that means reporting the speeder to the police. Never a need to speed in a 30 and anyone that does is a total prick. Nothing big or clever about speeding in a resedential street with the possibility of kids running out in front of you. Get out in the country and open it up there to your hearts content. Ask yourself the next time yr speeding in a 30 "what would i do if i killed a kid" ? Fookin boils my piss this sort of thing.

Fair point of course, but how would you feel about a 9am to 3pm exclusion law of 80mph in a 30mph,  weekends not included of course

OK ok time to take another temazepam, yes i do have kids, 2 of the horrors & i'm glad to say they have now both left home  i'm only rattling your cage ffs and it was such an easy rattle tut tut. Back to the main point, of course i take it easy in built up areas, for precisly the reason you state, as i'm a good law abiding citizen, well i am now they've taken my bike off me & put me in this cell
