I am a little supprised buddy , but as you say mate each to there own.... I haven't driven you model scooby , But I have driven a full rally spec one faster than yours and to be honest it was ok..... I just feel more lively with rear wheel drive......

admittedly the traction control pisses me off sometimes , but I am no where near competent enough driver to have it off all the time especially when really pushing it.... I have had some small slide with traction control on at silly speeds and I can only imagine I would of totaled my car without it on....

wouldn't mind having a go of your model one day though

I was under the impression the scooby was rear wheel drive where as its alternative the evo was 4 wheel, hence why the scooby is better at drifting, on the other hand i may jsut be dribbling

Yes was having a few issues with photobucket there

Mine is the 2.5 version, and mapped etc, so is pushing nearly 400bhp, also has a adjustable diff for rear wheel drift action, thats as good as an M3

Nope there both 4WD, but the scoob as DCCD (Driver Controlled Center Differential), so you can have almost RWD if you want it

Jacey the one I drove was a full spec rally one I drove at a track on one of the days I think it was more BHP I think around 450 but they were being reluctant in letting us above 6500 revs so not to the top

but it was still fun  will dig out pic somewhere

scooby is a good car, interesting engine design tho...........

yup someone is way too into top gear, and if you want to go round the nurburgring fast the best machine is the new nissan GTR (again way too into top gear)

yeah the GTR looks immense and will shame cars like the M6, M5, Porsche's.

Alas, no german (ok, there are one or two exceptions) or Japenese cars achieve these things.    Only the italians do that imo.
