Another close shave with the cops

About an hour ago I pulled on to the M11 from loughton wheelied in second front came down into 3rd about 110mph, next thing I kmow blue lights from behind. I had only just over taken an unmarked police car. I slow down and a navy blue golf mark 5 pulls along side me.. window goes down and two police men start shouting " SLOW DOWN" about 5 times then just drove off. ;-)

I shat myself and pulled into the inside lane for ages.  :emb:

You lucky lucky bastard! (said in a Monty Python voice)

Keep an eye out for that golf, it has more than one number plate and can change its lights, simulate blown bulbs and lots of other tricks.

LUCKY!!! I've already been banned.... It was well overdue. Think I was on my 12th time when I finally got done

The ban was for a different offence obviously! It was just for speeding

a collegue of mine jsut got caught in his car today doing 200(125mph) in a 120(75mph) limit, cause he lives in belgium and so has belgian plates they just handed him an on the spot fine of 1500 euros, but he is jsut lucky they didnt take his car

Truescot: thats a rather large fine  :shock: I would be fooked if I had to pay that! But I think I would rather that than lose my license and go on a ban. :-/

Been out today for a few hours but didn't really enjoy it because I am so paranoid of every single car on the road now. Still rode like a bit of a twat mind you but I'm like a nervous reck now I keep looking over my shoulder and looking in every car ride past.

I think my friend definately got very lucky, he was caught on the same piece of road that i was a few months previous but i was doing 160 not 200 and i lost my licence for 10 days(had to walk home) and got a 500 euro fine.  The worst thing was 5 minutes previous i had been thinking if i keep driving at this speed i am definatly gonna lose my lcence at some point then thought na not today .....

The good thing here is its rare for them to take your licence for longer than 10 days unless you are caught at rediculous speed multiple times, also we dfont have a points system and you cant lose your licence from a speed camera photo jsut get a really big fine

NO POINTS SYSTEM! Thats so much better! I bet that means less people are driving illegally/uninsured too! Whats wrong fooking England!

There may be no points system but if you are caught by the police more than once at a rediculous speed the previous times you have been caught by the police(not the camera) will count against you.  but i have been caught twice at pretty high speeds where in the uk iam sure i woulda lost my licence

Just along the end of my road there is a big long road called the beneluxbaan which is about 5 miles long with traffic lights every mile or so, its the place all bikes go for draggin, wheelies and stoppies. Its also impossible for the police to sneek up on you and the only ones you see are on mountain bikes crossing at the traffic lights motioning you to keep it down a bit :D
