I gotta admit i am also an addict altho to be honest the amount of rain around in the last few weeks has reduced the number of hits i need. I am also a little addicted to stoppies, on that note i would like to give everyone a piece of advice, Once you have mastered stoppies they are extremely addictive,

a couple of years ago i jumped on a mountain bike for the first time in ages and it had front suspension so of course it flashed into my mind whether i could do a decent stoppie on it (i have got to say i was maybe a little overconfident) pulled on the front brakes and shot over the handle bars ending up with the bike passing back between my legs(still holding onto the break at this stage).

Its sooo easy on the 10r especially, the breaks might not be the greatest in the world but for feel they are brilliant so you always know how high you are going

I even bought a cruiser to stop me doing it - but after 6 months the craving for mono-wheeled action was too much and I went and bought another ZX10r

i'm NOT comparing a zx10 to a dingy crack house but some how it fits perfectly...hmmm

2 Wheelies not bad.. looks like your on the road to full recovery... hang on! I hope you don't mean two two mile wheelies! Thats like saying I only did two lines of coke but they were as long as my front room and at first thing in the morning

Try this.

Stop at the lights, at the front of a queue of traffic - have a quick check for marked police cars, and make sure the road ahead is empty and preferably a four laned carriageway.

Set off from the light's in 1st gear, slowly accelerate, get to about 6000 revs, make sure you're comfortable but alert, then ...

Quickly OFF the throttle, and quickly - very quickly - back on the throttle - FULL ON

If you don't wheelie then your bike is knackered.

Thats about right.. cover your rear brake just in case.. and ease off as soon as you feel it come up until your comfortable.. I prefer 7000 rpm but hey..

first one was about 1/4 of a mile, second one wasn't as far but was bout 130mph  :emb

Really if you can't get the front of a 10 up you just ain't trying dude. Accelerate in first up to about 6 - 7000rmp then just crack the throttle open. If it don't come up you aint banging the throttle open enough, repeat step one, and whack the throttle open harder. Keep repeating until the front comes up, then shit yourself drop the throttle and bury the front wheel into the road and crush your nuts on the tank. Swear you are never going to do it again, get 2 miles down the road and repeat from step 1. If I remember that's pretty much how learning to wheelie goes  

P.S. dont blame me if the last thing you remember seeing is your pride and joy cartwheeling down the road.

im just concerned bike will cover me

have done what u advised few times but instead going up went forward veeeery fast hehe
