i have used the car trolley jack method and its fine,,,,,,,,,once the forks are out you can rest the engine on blocks of wood and its quite stable,,,,,,,,,,

my simple steps to removing your forks

1. place your bike on a rear paddock stand
2. remove lower fairing (belly pan)
3.find a small block of wood approx 8" long
4.place your wood on top of a car jack
5.place the jack as far forwards as poss under the exhaust
6.start jacking

i use this method

   use the same method for taking front wheel out, ain't got a front paddock y'see.

actually looking at that site mine is a nws ,, ive had it so long fogot wer i got it from ....tis really good tho cus unlike abba stand it fits all bikes
