Well, what a great day, found a cut through road between Machynlleth and Landiloes - very pretty and great scenery

Did A483 at top pelt - very nice

Stopped at the end to stretch my legs before the long slog back to Manc

Walked about 10 yards from the bike

And it fell off it's side stand - bollocks

Anyone got a nearside footpeg and mirror going cheap ?

the side stand on the zx10 always seems to be an issue, ive got into the habit of always leaving mine in gear now after some vey near misses were its tried to just roll of the stand on its own accord.

you ight find the broken footpeg better than a new one.  I broke my footpeg on the left hand side so went and ordered a new one, for the week it took to arrive i got used to the stubby little broken footpeg and so have never bothered to fit the new one cause i prefer it short

You know, you do have a point here, on the ride back from Newtown to Manchester I really got to like the smaller peg - it allows you to move your foot around more. I'm tempted to take a dremel to the other side.
