Rome........Trevi fountain,Spanish Steps,stay at the Hilton Caverleri Hotel,is on one of the 7 hills of Rome,has rooms with views right over the city,it's fabulous,great food,nice Italian women,full of style,can't go wrong.OOOPS,sorry,you said outa the cities...

WhiteRabbit, I messed my knee up snowboarding and don't want to take the risk again so I want to avoid skiing but want a proper snow holiday,  coming from Africa we've allways done the hot, beach type holidays , so snow, cold etc is very differnat for us.
