yes was r&g. :( not using them again... if they hadn't have bent then pulse cover wouldn't have ground out... want some of those gsg ones next....

got engine runing again, had to drill and get the extractor on the two bottom sheared bolts... new cover & gasket plus the timing rotor behind it had its teeth smashed. Got them all out thank fuck...

had to refill with oil & engine flush, then drained and put new oil and filter and shes running strong... was amazing all the little bits of metal like grain of sand size in the oil that came out after the flush....

finger still strapped up....

yeah those R&G aren't too hot are they. I've crashed with GSG and Yoshi ones and they do what they say on the tin  :icon_thumright: Glad there is some light at the end of the tunnel there - have a pony :icon_thumright:

yeah seems fine,  i greased the new o-ring gasket plus used hammerite black rtv where the sensor goes in and over the joins btw upper & lower crankcase halves as per the manual...  B-)

yes i'm fine apart from finger. full leathes etc did a good job astars kit, only serious damage just hole in knee and one glove burst.

car changing lanes at last moment scenario although i was probably approaching junction to fast. oh well i guess it wouldn't be as bad if the 636 wasn't still in bits too in the garage from when i hit some gravel last month...

this hobby is getting far too expensive lol

I would say so Mike, they look more substantial than R&G....never liked R&G as all you are relying on is a bolt at the end of the day.....its too long and easily bent as you can see...cheap and nasty!!
