the best mods you can do to a bike is set it up right for you.
how much difference it makes depends on how far out it was to start with.

I know my bike isn't a 10 but Rotax has very recently started setting my suspension up for me, he did my front suspension when we last did the fork seals and it made a huge difference straight away for me (shows that it was way out before!)

I've just replaced the rear shock and he took the opportunity to mess with my rear suspension as well.....Plus I decided to jack the rear height up ;)

We know we can play with it more as even though it's improved, there's still loads of room for adjustment  :icon_thumleft:

I agree that it is the best singular thing you can do to improve a bike, you won't be able to understand how you put up with it for long once it's sorted

best bet put everything back to factory settings then change one thing at a time in small amounts. Factory settings are normally fairly close for general road riding for a 10st average height joe. Personally I prefer a stiff one so I have gone a couple of clicks harder on the front comp & rebound and about 1/4 of a turn on the back.

generally I prefer havign a stiff one...ahem....but having said that I may have gone a bit too hard bouncing all over the place, might just need to soften things up a bit for the roads round here.......perhaps I could show the rear shock a picture of Jade Goody, certainly stops me getting a stiff one....... :icon_puke_r:

 :iamwithstupid:

Majority of my bikes have been through Maxton for set up to suit my riding style/weight etc..
