Peak District National Car Park
« on: August 26, 2008, 01:28:18 PM »

Why do I do it ?

Why do I go into Derbyshire on a Bank Holiday Monday looking to "enjoy" my bike ?

I estimate that in the whole of the four hours I spent between the Cat and Copper, the A6 and the Snake Pass I must have averaged 34mph.

I'm moving to Spain

To be fair, it's entirely my own fault, I knew what it was going to be like - AND I've imposed a self rule - don't spend money in Derbyshire because thier coppers are ****'s (well, one is at least).

Should have gone further a field - but I'm lazy (and fat)

Lesson learnt - no more time in Derbyshire for this man

Was going to go up to Matlock, but in the end headed south, and ended up at the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum. Apart from through Sailsbury the roads were pretty quiet, especially on the way back. Far too many pointless 40 and 50 stretches though
