Yep that is part of CH Biggadikes old premises, which was once a small family Yamaha/Suzuki dealership which faded out over the years, they were around for something like 30 years or more. Clive Biggadike gave up the dealership (well I dont think he sold a bike in years) Divided the shop into 3 units and now has a tiny little shop in part of the old premises he calls Motorzone just flogging bike bits and bobs, oils, batteries etc. The rest of the old premises has been divided into a Taxi firm and the new little bike shop which it looks like is called All bikes. Im guessing that Clive Biggadike still owns all the shops but rents out the bits he don't use to the Taxi firm and All bikes. I drive by a number of times every day, all I've seen is a few old bikes and some cheap looking new maybe Chinese stuff parked outside so have not bothered having a look in. None of my mates have mentiond they have had anything to do with them yet.
I don't know if they will do much business, Horseshoe garage (Vauxhall and Saab independents) do MOT's and also own K and N motorcycles and Scooters, they are now Yamaha agents and have soaked up the little business Biggadikes did plus any local growth and supply any new scooters anyone would want. Moulton Chapel motors also soaked up some MOT work from Biggies, I also know that GLF have been thinking about doing MOT work as well. The fact is there are alot of bikers in Spalding but anyone with sportsbikes uses Taz or if they insist on UK bikes go to Kawasaki Peterborough or Stamford superbikes. There are also specialist Trike and custom builders GLF who's owners are linked up with local clubs as well as people such as Manic and Broadgate motorcycles picking up scraps that don't find their way to Peterborough.
