I must be one of those self harm types
« on: August 23, 2008, 07:12:02 PM »

well,

I only have myself to blame  [rofl] [rofl]

We are in the middle of the usual DIY and you know how I like to have a go at stuff..... well last year was the new bathroom and then there was the 'knock the wall out' between the hall and the kitchen and make it nicer which both worked out ok and I quite enjoyed my DIY ptojects...... well at the moment it's easy stuff like redecorating the lads room's TV on wall etc , time consuming and a bit boring but hey what the hell . Oh yes and there was the plastering in the living room last week when the dado rail removal took the wall with it ha ha  well that'll be reet with a bit of nice thick wallpaper over it anyhow.......

There was the 2 extra sheds in the garden last year too which was a laugh, especially getting one from over Nottingham way with the poor trailer swaying from side to side all the way home  [rofl] [rofl]

and then......jesus, I've done a lot......... the sandstone wall  and subsequent removal of the bushes at the front and then he slate chipping suff there too and and and..........

Well, I've just bought myself 350 bricks from ebay and am moving the sandstone wall from the front, because it looks shit, to make a new retaining wall at the back   to then build myself a nice proper wall at the front at long last , can't wait to get stuck into that  [wall]

Here they are waiting for me to go and get them and Dave had very kindly offered me the loan of his van and Jay has to come along for a nice morning out with his dad to get them moved  [rofl] [rofl]

One of these days I'll take a rest I reckon  [whistle]

poor Diane  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

well, an interesting day of rest that was going to be a nice easy one but that all went up the creek  [wall]  all my own fault  though  [rofl]

A million billion thanks to Phil for the loan of his Sprinter van and what a van I want one !!!! and bloody hell Phil I loved that stereo, there I was screaming to Bryan Adams  [whistle] :emb:  what a day.........

So myself and Jay (not like he had a choice  [whistle] ) went off in Phils van to collect the 350 bricks that I bought from a guy who needed aquick sale on ebay.... it turned out to be 450 and 45 breeze blocks, no complaints from me. So they are now stacked nicely at the back ready to be made into a wall at the front Woooooooohoooooooo
