Northamptonshire BikeKraft

Eeek

I'm booked in to do my two hour assessment ride next Monday....

I only emailed them about it yesterday!

It's Northamptonshire's answer to the BikeSafe courses, you get the two hour assessment, then you join up with Northamptonshire Advanced Motorcyclists (part of IAM) then once they think you're ready, you do the IAM Advanced test.

All for the lowly sum of £109 which I figured was a pretty decent price!

So anyway, anyone got any tips? The copper I spoke to on the phone sounds ok and he said not to worry about small number plate or race can  (Just as well really!)

S'cuse me...I'm just going to go and quietly rock myself in the corner  :sad5:

To be honest I stick to 30 and 40's anyway.....It's like being on my test again  :emb:

I know if it's dry he'll be on a grey R1 (unmarked) which will be easier but if it's wet then he said he'll be on a marked up pan....I'm going to be wanting to pull over every time I look in my mirrors

Looking at it on the website and the quick chat I had with Andy (the copper) on the phone....It looks like it'll be well worth the money, at the end I get a nice certificate to show my insurance company and save a bit of money...Never a bad thing  ;-)

I'll update again on Monday after my assessment  :icon_thumright:
