Snow,

The photo was taken at my home in Northern Ireland where I live in the Glens of Antrim.  I'm working in York for a couple of years and my employer has put me up in an apartment close to the Racecourse/Terry's Chocolate Factory.  I get home every other weekend but I let the local farmers sheep do the grass cutting - when the weather's good enough to mow the garden it's better to get out on the road cause it's gonna rain at any moment!   :lol:

Unfortunately the factory's closed down and their going to turn it into...guess what?  Yep, more apartments!

I'd be up for a rideout when I get back (currently in NI on hols, going over to the Manx GP next week then back to York at the beginning of September).  :icon_thumleft:

Hi all,

Not exactly a newbie but not long after Nick Zx10's post above I went across to the Isle of Man to watch the Manx Grand Prix.  Managed to find a dry day on the middle Sunday and headed for a lap around the circuit.  That's all I remember of the day as, apparently some kind soul on a ZZR 600 cut across the road while I was riding full chat through Joey's.  Anyway, 3 days after the event I came around in ICU a bit worse for wear (Well 7 broken ribs, 1 punctured lung, 1 broken shoulder, 1 smashed right wrist, 1 broken left arm and a fractured face to be exact) but that wasn't the worse of it - my pride and joy was totalled!  [naughty]

Just had my final but one operation a few days ago and thought I'd get back on and say hello.

The police in the Isle of Man were able to tell me that the accident wasn't my fault as they'd watched it through the camcorder fitted to my bike but I think I'm gonna be bikeless for a while until it's all sorted out!

Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and, now I've got a bit more time on my hands, I'll hopefully get visiting more regular.
