just before 24-7 race bike bitz was born i tried to start up a wheelie school i reckon i could have worked but just could`nt get an air field for shit.
But if any one has an unused mile stretch of tarmac kicking about they dont want, i`ll do you lessons for free.

i dont use clutch, if you got a 16t on the front all you need is about 60mph in 2nd, thottle off then whack it out to the stop, kinda bouncin it up then ride it out to the redline/ shiftlight. front comes down at 100-105 ish after you run out of revs/power tails off. got a speedohealer too so i know its not over-reading. i need to start changing up to third so i can hold on to them for longer...

or like the first one you just done 45-50ish in first then just wind it on fast, comes up less aggro than if you bounce it 2nd....

just my 2p worth

When you get better at wheelies you will find the clutch better. It enables you to flick it straight to BP at low revs :icon_thumright:

other than the instructors wheelie i wouldnt have counted any of them as a proper wheelie really, more of a quick bounce :)

thumbs up to the instructor tho, i consider myself a dab hand at stoppies but there is no way on this planet i would do one 2 up

still laffing Andy  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

what I was pissing about at tonight is really easy, down to 2nd at around 70, shut off a little and open it up and Bob's yer uncle, up she comes  :icon_thumright:  think I'll piss about with changing through the box soon for those long ones  :icon_thumright:  just with 2nd when it stays up under full acceration, not balance point or anything just up a bit under power it'll hold till about 120  :headbang:

ALWAYS KEEP YOUR FOOT OVER THE BACK BRAKE IN CASE IT GETS TOO HIGH, it's a safety button   :icon_thumright:  (I never do though  :emb: )

2nd's just nice and easy. I do pop em in 3rd now and again with a bit of clutch but it's big speed like starting around a ton really. 2nd and shift into 3rd  will do me fine i reckon. When I were a lad, aye many years ago, it was all so easy and fearless..........age spoils stuff but bugger that I'm a kid at heart  [whistle]  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]  did I say kid, I meant to say arse  [rofl] [rofl]

well im too bad at those wheelie things, but tonight i found a new level of ohh-fuck-me it's goin over
a right hander in second goin up-hill , i decide a fistfull is a good idea just on the crest of the hill still in second  :dontknow:
any-how the fookin foot came off the peg i slide onto the seat hump and the bike goes into a death wobble in vertical mode
i saved the fooker i think by closing my eyes  [rofl] no pure skill  [rofl]  [whistle]
my mate behind just  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] the fucker
the ride back from there was a little less frantic due to the extra weight in my pants  :emb:

moral of the story  :icon_scratch:
i'm a lucky bastard today  :drunken_smilie:
