Its cause they offer you a low price for the first year to get you in the door then they crank up the prices blaming economic markets etc(even tho insurnce companies make the most mney out of any industry we're talking trillions(american trillion of course) profit each year)  most people just dont bother changing through laziness or not wanting the hastle

The cheepest I found to insure me on a bike is Tesco's, not sure what it would be for a car but its worth a try

I swapped over to IBuyEco - an online mob - http://www.ibuyeco.co.uk/ as they camerup with the best deal for me.

Do a search on here as this came up a month or so ago (search facility on here is excellent  :icon_thumleft:)

Zurich are the best out there for customer service and coverage - hire car, extras, etc. Not the cheapest though.
HSBC are pretty cheap as well and Barclays if you bank with them

I use Bell.co.uk and Bike sure for me bike both really good for my renewals bell I have never had better insurance service  :icon_thumright: bike sure are ok ish but never been a problem  :icon_thumright:
