Got told a story the other day about someone who kept a large, constrictor type snake as a pet.

It seems the snake had been off its food for weeks on end, not eating anything and acting unusual.

The owner, a rather small lady, then found the snake beside her in bed one morning, having escaped its cage.
Finding this behaviour slightly worrying she contacted the vet for his opinion as to what was wrong with the snake.

When she told him what the snake had been doing he said have it put down immediately. When she asked why he said the snake had been sizing her up as its next meal, hence the fasting!  :shock:
