Just back from a weekend at Val Du Vienne - near Potier in Mid France. Arranged through Hottrax although the organisers are a Belgium company called Eyebis - used them a few times now and are a really great bunch.
Very relaxed trackday experience compared to the safety nazi approach in the UK.
Free beers at the end of each day with the instructors/organisers !
A few snaps - my 3rd time there and its drivable from the UK (about 6 hours through France) - Speedferry from Dover takes 40-45 minutes and costs peanuts. Went with a few lads from SBF and a couple of regular t/day mates. Rollon 2009.
Viaduct over the Vienne - 5 mins from the track
Pitlane exit - front straight
Briefing - Note lack of British Contingent
Desperately seeking beer
The Crew - Top left of this Pic (packing up time by the looks)
Arr the pool at the hotel ... thank god
