ok i'll tell ya ? they were going off big time? was having some big ass slides too ? even a  out the seat moment whilst totaly comitted on e a left at about 100mph and hard on it ?

I don't even get half that what shoe's is it wearing?

I got the Road Pilot 2 on it, the last rear did over 6k with a couple of trackdays as well.  Only had to change it cos after 5k it started to square off and at 6 it was becoming a bugger to tip into the bends.

The amount of weight on the seat will make a massive difference to how your tyres are

Don't really pay too much attention to strips myself but I can tell you that on the 636B1 I usually keep a bit on the front until it goes on track whereas on the Gixxer the front tends to go all the way fairly quickly but I put it down to a difference in my position on the bike and I do have a fairly 'front end heavy' style. Some tyres do make it easier because of profile tho.

Enjoy the riding and only worry about KFC's strips matey.

different profile tyres front and rear is the norm, so they are going to look different, but they are called chicken stripes for a reason

 Heres a comparison lads ! .... am on Rennsports roads, hard centre... like caramel ! softish sticky sides.... fudge !

 Do I have chik strips yea,   on the back 5mm, front to big to mention 

 By comparison, my much younger mate ( 06 750 GXR ) has a no Chiken strips..... But he also now has no bike, he's just

 lobbed it up the road at Oulton, gassin' it out of Knickerbrook, pirrelli's let go big time, BiG mesh..... few bruises and   
 
 three broken ribs !   

  am I worried about my chik strips not that much !    ( mind you not had mine on the track yet...  )

I'm with everyone else, don't worry about chicken strips on the road as you need to push the front pretty hard to lose them. On the road that means you'll probably visit a hedge at high speed which is at best hugely embarrassing and expensive. I got rid of my front strips at Knockhill but that was a byproduct of simply having fun and enjoying the track.
