Unfortunately my leathers weren,t in my posession yesterday, so i borrowed a mates paddock style jacket with sponge armour in it, but with it being designed to be worn over leathers, which of course i wasn,t......
it,s fair to say the jacket was effectively 2-3 sizes to big for me with just a t-shirt on underneath. The result being that when i hit tarmac the jacket basically just bunched and rolled of my shoulders.
......Yes that,s correct 24/7 racebits...the bend is located in the middle of nowhere, with a school and church situated just around it, luckily i know this road well and know to always knock it off for this short stretch, reason being that just around it there are always cars parked and the odd pedestrian milling about. Good job for me too because when accident investigators take piccies of the marks on the tarmac from my fairings, it will give a good indication of the slow speed i was doing. I think it,s fair to say if i was doing a fair old lick then they would be photographing a hole in that dry-stone wall
I don,t think it was his speed so much as his crap choice of line through the bend.( maybe he wasn,t used to carrying pillion and missjudged his line with the extra wieght,,,,
