I am sorry for asking this but i really want to know.  What where you wearing on the bike? I only ask cause of the obvious skin loss on your back, so was wandering if it was with leather or fabric suit etc,  I am jsut interested in this in terms of future crashes i am bound to be in :(

Unfortunately my leathers weren,t in my posession yesterday, so i borrowed a mates paddock style jacket with sponge armour in it, but with it being designed to be worn over leathers, which of course i wasn,t...... :emb: it,s fair to say the jacket was effectively 2-3 sizes to big for me with just a t-shirt  on underneath. The result being that when i hit tarmac the jacket basically  just bunched and rolled of my shoulders. :crybaby2:......Yes that,s correct 24/7 racebits...the bend is located in the middle of nowhere, with a school and church situated just around it, luckily i know this road well and know to always knock it off for this short stretch, reason being that just around it there are always cars parked and the odd pedestrian milling about. Good job for me too because when accident investigators take piccies of the  marks on the tarmac from my fairings, it will give a good indication of the slow speed i was doing. I think it,s fair to say if i was  doing a fair old lick then they would be photographing a hole in that dry-stone wall  I don,t think it was his speed so much as his crap choice of line through the bend.( maybe he wasn,t used to carrying pillion and missjudged his line with the extra wieght,,,, :dontknow:

That crap luck pal, hope you mend soon  :icon_thumright:
Was on one of those rides you wished you hadn't myself yesterday, my mate was struck on the helmet or visor by a bird, braked  hard on the bend - bike sat up and he hit a telegraph pole and a dry stone  wall, then was flung 10-15 feet into a field. Almost identical injuries to yourself, fractured collarbone etc., but alive and well. His poor cherished FZR is wrecked though. Hope ypu get well soon.

pretty simple man, the standards already look a lot like the ohlins, just photoshop an ohlins logo onto them :D
