Sorry to drag this up from the past but better than starting a new thread.

Wippy just wondering if your mate in Corby still does this shotblasting/powdercoating?, i'm thinking of getting my standard rear sets powder coated gloss black. Do you think this will be durable enough not to wear off with my boots etc? and would you be able to find out the estimated costs involved please?

Anyone else had their standard ones done and have any experience on this?

Cool cheers Hammy - Sorry to sound dumb - is the satin finish very shiny or matt in finish?

Did you get them done by wippy's mate or elsewhere? How much were they??

No Matt is matt, Gloss is gloss and Satin is a 50% mix. Its the same colour that the 06/07 frame and swing arm are painted.

But when applied to wheels or bodywork MATT!! ie:

Ps Stumpy! when I talk about Satin I am talking about laquer! so when Satin laquer is applied to paint it gives Matt finish.
