nope, nope nope totally wrong. It wont be the same it will wear them out faster.
It will actually wear them out very fractionally slower but the difference will be negligible.

Ladies, ladies are you two still squabbling? Christ !the thread about the giroscope raged on long enough. :roll: :tongue3:

however, I have an idea, Pat as it's your point how about measuring it all up in perhaps driving through a set of pads with loads of hard braking for say maybe a year and then a year or so with the softer braking, let us know how it goes in 2011 or thereabouts  [whistle]   [rofl] [rofl]

id def say in my case they would wear down quicker with the slow easy braking, seeing as with my ham fisted right hand any attempts at hard breaking would sooner or later have me locking up the front and throwing it through the traffic lights! :-P
