Well folks i went to the Ron Haslam race school today
My boss called me in the office monday and asked what i was doing wens, of course i said workin.
he said well you wont need your tools your comming with us to donnie to do the race school!
to say i was chuffed is an understatement. a free trackday with instruction!!!!!
there was 12 of us staff from work and customers. we did the premier school on cbr600's.
2 ridres to an instructor. had a wicked day and learnt my way round donnie, full circuit aswell
at the end of the day the instructor reconed he could of took me round faster and all i realy needed to
work on was using all of the track on the exit of corners, he gave me a score of 88 out of 100.
on the last session we overtook three groups on blades so i was chuffed. great circuite donnie, good
info from the instructors aswell.
also met Guy Martin, it was his first day as an instructor. he a sound fella just one of the lads.
Leon Haslam was there aswell and his old fella. the classroom instructor was Steve Sawford, he used to ride
250's and he was realy informative.
recomend it to anyone, obviously im biased as it was free.
prob do the elite next year on blades, they have datalogging on so you can realy see whats going on
