If  I'm honest the growler is too loud and too harsh for my liking. Its the headers with 2ft of pipe. Theres fook all silencing there really.

On the 06 the A & R baffle kit is the dogs and on the 08 you can get away with just the underbelly silencer - ask Twostroke - that sounds a lot like the A & R kit. Nice and deep with a good bellow.

as a few of you know i've fitted a growler to my 08 and with the pipercross fitler it made a good 173bhp but im taking it on a trackday this week and im just hoping it will pass the noise test with the baffle in,does the zx10r pass the noise test with the baffle in anyone done a trackday with one fitted ??????????????,i know you always run the bike up to temp to because that makes a big diffrence,horse you must have done a trackday with yours fitted ?????????? :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

The bit that gets me is they can stop you riding on the track, but they can't stop you spending all day riding up and down the road outside the circuit making loads of noise :D
