With new speed camera rules local councils no longer get the proceeds from the fines generated by the camera,  Now all the money goes to the central government to bail out browns bullsh1t policies no doubt. 

So since the local councils no longer get this money they are now calling it a tax on motorists and an inefficient way to make the roads safe. 

Now i'm not sure whether to be thankfull that local councils will stop funding speed cameras or pissed off cause they are only bringing this up now that they are not getting the money for it or completely ambivolant due to the fact i dont actually live in the uk at the minute and am just hoping the dutch get the idea that speed cameras cause more accidents than they prevent.

Lets just hope that this outbreak of sanity spreads to the neighboring counties. (Especially Dorset)! Mind you, it never seems to worry me too much when the voices keep telling me to go faster.
