It's about time they brought out a reactolite visor, they do it with sunglasses  :-S

I used to have a reactolite visor on my nzi helmet, not sure if its available for other helmets, only problem is that when i was in the uk with it  was fined for having a tinted visor with it, when i tried to explain that it was reactolite they said it didnt matter as it was dark at the time they stopped me, i think htey where just picking on me cause was on a foreign bike.

Well if the visor was still black, it wasn't reacting very quick then was it lol maybe the batteries had run out  :tongue3:

Just go's to show, it's all down to which side of the bed the copper got out of, or he just probably thought you were being a smart arse. "Ello ello ello wots all this then, Reactolite visor indeed, now then sonny think i was born yesterday"

its a daft law concerning the visors, i use a clear visor but i always wear sunglasses this is legal! so tell me what the difference is? unless of course i pull up my visor and just ride with it up and my sunglasses on, this is ilegal! but if i take my sunglasses off then its legal again!  :icon_scratch: bloody law dont know its arse from its elbow.

The Copper was probably told to pull Bikers...for anything,if you have nowt on them fabricate it,make yourself a nuisance as to make the Bikers life difficult, persecute the fookers!!
But as was said...People then start to dispise the Police for their tactics...the way they look at us, Joe Public...they talk down to us....and i fooking hate it when some pup of a copper talks down to me....fooking gets my backup, trying to get a reaction out of you so they can get you for summat else!!
Nowadays i say fook all when im pulled, speak when they ask me a question and dont say owt otherwise.
Errrrrrr yeah........

I have been blessed with a pretty fair complection and so look much younger than i am (i got id'd at a nightclub in edinburgh of all places last year where my little sis walked streight in)  So I quite regularly get the talking down comment "so how long have you had your licence then" with them obviously expectin me to say 1 year etc so when i say 11 years they tend to get a bit dumbstruck :)

I think it's only illegal to use sunglasses if they aren't CE marked for eye protection, which most aren't.

If these are then it's a cheap way of riding legally:

Just av to be careful as CE approval must be for the impact protection, not protection from UV etc,
