1/4 mile
« on: July 12, 2008, 11:32:58 PM »

Anyone done a 1/4 mile??

Fancy a go next sunday at Crail Raceway. It's mostly a car only gig, but I've seen some bikes posted on their site.
Need to find a bit of 'private road' to practice launches!

There is a ZX12 posting some 9+ sec times there, hopefully I can stay in the 10's, may be a bit optimistic?

If it's a go'er, I'll post the video.  :icon_thumright:

My Easter Egg Mug says 10.7 on the side, so that will be my 'get out, excuse, handicap bar'!!

Won't let the side down though, will just visualise the missus gunning for me after i've told her i've spent the crimbo fund on Ohlins stuff and.......... wollop, I'll be down the strip like a tight jock running away from his spend happy wife

p.s. hope it's dry next week, wouldn't want to get wasted by a Saxo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
