how do you work out just an engine and v5 ?
. engine 1000,
lockset/cdi and keys 500.
forks 250,
calipers 125,
back wheel 125,
shock 50 ,
tank 50
.clocks 200.
frame and v5 1000.
subframe 150
clock bracket 50
seats, wiring , back brake,footrests , handle bars , master cylinders, injectors etc etc etc the list goes on
price these bits up from a dealer or breaker i think you;ll have a shock . like a new keyset over a thousand pounds etc

It can be done, i got hit across the front wheel whilst stationary by a mercedes van on my k3 gixxer and it smashed the wheel leaving the forks untouched (obviously a fair bit of fairing damage too after hitting the ground)
