they will have to , thers no way they will get F1 taffic down that rd ,i cant see why they wont thers nothing on the left hand side of it all the wat from the M1 to donny except one junction .... plus it will help east midlands airport so i can see that going thro easy .....  its gettting the track and pit area upto spec will take the time .....  for one the track has to be lengthened and widened , with better pits and run off areas .... i cant see many track days going on the nxt yr  :-(

my big sis works there and its a done deal, was signed on friday morning and in all the papers and tele that day, hence ecclestone being on bbc talking about it.

i remember a previous conversation about the track mods and to lengthen the circuit the melbourne loop will go and be replaced by a long straight through the paddock ending up with redgate being a left hander leading back onto craners as it is, sounds great to me and also good if they upgrade the facilities for all of us to use when were there  :icon_thumleft:

Is a ploy by Yamaha. Modding the track is the only chance Rossi has of ever winning again at Donny again :D

Yea the race was a good one.

But only if you watched it on TV.

Silverstone has got to be one of the worst circuits for  viewing in the country  :pottytrain2:

Some circuits are really good for viewing, One of which is Donington (in present form) Cadwell, Mallory and even though Assen is probably flatter than Silverstone there are plenty of good viewing areas there too

Watching the motogp in Qatar there is one stand on the start finish straight. This is also where the pits are so you get to see right into the garages. Plus there are giant screens so you can see the rest of the action away from the stands. It's worth going for the noise alone :D
