I used the older 208gps on my old R1 track bike.......great tyre but ultimately not as stable as pirellis.....moves the bike around quite a bit even in a straight line........but amazing corner grip....

I raced on dunlops years ago and loved the way they slide without letting go, but I had some 209gp's on at silvers last year and they ripped up something terrible on the back ( still slid well though ).
I still love em for the feel but I need to sort out rear end traction and no matter who I turn to I seem to suffer.
Now have a K-tech rear shock with Racetech's and at Donnington, after asking N. Makenzie for advise I still had the same problem.......... [wall] [wall]
on these big thou's I only use scrubs 'cause I can't afford it otherwise

mate if it`s an ntec it will be 24 psi hot but your warmer wont get it hot enuff after your session take the presure asap and bleed back to 24 psi
if its not an ntec run it at 28psi hot again do your session and bleed back depending on how hot it is you might have to go back to 22 psi for an ntec depends on track temp, how hard your riding it and  how much you are tearing the tyre.

some folk tell you to run the rears 19psi cold but i`ve tried it and the tyre gets to hot

bet you my tyre warmers get it hot enough  :tongue3:

what ones you got now G i`m thinking of getting the capit ones from crescent the diamond ones aint big enuff for the profile i run.

The wear on the GPs on my R1 is even across the tyre, tyre bloke was impressed. The credit for that must go to James (Zenodamper) who rebuilt the internals front and rear.

Yeah he's back down in Wogga Wogga or wherever in Australia. He's doing well too , i doubt we'll see him here again, it's just too hard for a small independant to break into the racing scene
