To add to the Colin Edwards scenario,

We did a trackday at Llandow a month ago and as Manic entered a long fast sweeping left his footpeg snapped clean in half on his ZX6R B1, he saves the day but ruined an otherwise good slider in the process.

had the same issue with my MS sent it to a shop based at silverstone and it cost me about 30 quid for a full repair.

Can think of the company but just have a look on the silverstone website.  GRP i think it might be?
