twostrokes update..
« on: June 25, 2008, 03:34:35 PM »

well I am still well and truly fooked up but am getting better every day....properly better even if my head is still a bit messed up...Cant get back into work as I collapse in pain and exhaustion even driving to site let alone working.

Had my final plaster (plastic) cast taken off today and have been swimming in my pool today for the first time in 8 weeks, for some one who used to swim everyday you can understand what a relief that is...

I am still in too much pain from the neck muscles/tendond but they are slowly healing and I reckon in 6 weeks they will be no problem.

So far I have had no improvement in the major muscles, bicep quads and deltoids...so I have to go back in for a week in 2 weeks for more assesment and then they will decide if I HAVE TO HAVE THE OPERATIONS then its 12-18 months of will it or wont it work...ooh thats going to be fun

anyway moving forward and getting better...and now I can use the mouse with my right hand

Mate chin up...

I had a friend who got wiped out .. he was into the gym like me and basically he was dead..... broken rib 2 broken legs to broken arms punctured lung .... didn;t think he was gonna make it.... He has pulled through and back in the gym in under a year .... still not 100% fitness but his weight training is getting there ... he will never lift what he could but at least he can still train....

thanks dudes I am still fighting...but only just starting to get any real effort into it as I am so bloody exhausted all the time...even eating makes me flake out for an hour...oh joy...

but I am doing half a day each week on site and will try to increase that as time goes on...business is a bit slow but lots going on...very stress full and I just cannot handle the stress at the moment, its part of the cant sleep problem...we will overcome as they say...

At least you've got your own pool - that's more than most of us!  :-P

Hope you continue to improve at this rate mate, as everyone else said, chin up  :icon_thumright:
