« on: June 24, 2008, 11:02:12 PM »

just a word of warning to all you lads, been down to bassets pole tonight with a few friends and ive never seen so much law in all off my biking days. one camra van , two bikes , one cenral van in central res monitoring dual carraige way in to place and a police car in layby . fuckin crap .and std ford focus with no extra ariels on show , driving through the car park
what the fucks happening to our bike meets.
if you fancy a nice ride out with no hassle , dont bother with bassets pole  :-(

Where is this Bassett's Pole

Sounds like a euphanism for Bertie Bassett's nocturnal activity play thing.

bassets pole is just off a38 on a453 ,sutton collfield way ,tuesday bike meets. must say its been a while since ive been down there so maybe theres not normally that much police attendance, but puts me off doing these meets when its as bad as that.

I live in Birmingham and have never bothered with the Bassetts Pole meet as there is usually too much old bill  :iamwithstupid:

however the Waterman is not bad  near Warwick

they say  the rozzers are going to close it down every year , been saying it for 8 years now . The pole is a good meet it went down when that woman got killed about 4 years ago, by some twat on a knackered cbr on shagged tyres trying to get his knee down . but also the woman was standing on the wrong side of the barrier with her mates just after the bend so when he came off the bike it hit her.the twat on the bike had no licence ,no insurance, but if they wern't standing on the wrong side of the barrier they wound not of been hit by the bike . but of corse we are all nutters should be stopped etc etc but like i said in the news no mention of the fact that he was banned from riding and they were stainding the wrong side of the barrier just all bikers are mad
