sorry guys , server died I have brought it back to office and have it running on a single disk to keep you guys entertained ... I will make sure I back it up and make sure .... I fix the disks very soon  :icon_thumleft:

sorry about last night guys , I am having real drama's with keeping this server running ..... its not just the disks now its the whole board ... looks like I may need to buy a new server :-(

Has it been playing up for a while.

Has taken ages to download the homepage for a week or so now.

that would seem really weird fido considering that the server is one hop back from the datacentre it was in .... so a distance further from the direct dual gigabit internet connection that it was on ....  :emb:

and now its in my office on our fibre link to our datacentre  :dontknow: but really should seem the same tbh .... its still fooked and running on its last legs... to be honest why I am sitting here writing this now and not backing up the database ... is beyond me..... in fact .... off I trot to back up the forum completely .... and the 150 gigs worth of files on here too  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

I hope I don't piss anybody off with my suggestion but it sounds like we need a "whip-round" for a new server.  :emb:

Or at lest tell us what parts need replaced or what spec of server u need, who knows someone might have a replacement.
