« on: June 15, 2008, 07:21:46 PM »

Don,t know what sort of numbers you guys normally ridout in, but don,t you find that 3 seems to be ideal ? 4 is ok but i find any more than that, it just ends up being a convoy with too much stop start riding.  [wall]

depends on the ride buddy , and if the group knows the route or not....

we had 4 today all very capable riders who are well verse in the art of filtering so we was ok ... when you get a mixed group and guys who are curtious filterers it can be a bit stop start  :emb:

Mostly prefer to ride on my own. Went out with 3 others this morning and had the back wheel a foot in the air and the bike crossed up when i got too close to the bloke in front who braked harder than necessary  :emb: .  Decided that was the time to get to the front

That's a good plan. There's loads of good fast empty roads and no speed cameras around here

The shell vpower fuel here in nl is a different mix than in the uk for some reason, its only 95 octane instead of 98 as well and my bike runs really craply on it.  Around the nurburgring you can get 100 octane fuel which makes the bike feel like a rocket (although that could be just in my mind)

Quote
In the United Kingdom and Denmark (where Super Unleaded must be a minimum of 97 RON), V-Power has a rating of 99 RON, while in the Republic of Ireland, it is rated at 95 RON. In Australia, V-Power Racing, the ultra-high performance variant has a rating of 100 RON. In The Netherlands, it has a RON 95 rating, although officials from Shell stated it is effective RON 97, but classes are limited to RON 92, 95, 98 and 100.[1]
