They do baffles but they've a habit of  blowing the cans apart on track with them in

Some lads have the Termis re-packed every couple of years..... obviously as the wadding deteriorates with use the louder she get,s. If yours is mega- loud it may need re packing.... I never bothered cos the louder the better for me. :icon_thumright:

Thanks mate....yeah...walking into my garage at the moment is brill....real earthy manly biking smell....argggghhh (beats hands on chest)

Duke is in stripped form at the mo, and once this weekend is over the proper clean up will begin.  All the cleaning bits I ordered have arrived (degreaser, metal polish etc)...so can start in the evenings next week.  New battery is here too so it should fire up and run a lot better.

Once thats done...gonna order some new fairing bolts from Pro-Bolt...some new air filters...Oil and Filter then off for a MOT then Dyno Tuning at Motrac.  However my gut is telling me nothing is going to be straight forward.  I have decided that I am to put either standard cans on or some new ones...see whats a cheap alternative to those Termi's...they're too fucking loud really...it'll never pass a mot like that!

I am learning a hell of lot by stripping, cleaning, and generally fiddling with the duke.  I suppose I am a little less scared of breaking this one...and if I do...my good mates Chris, Andy and Dave will come round and fix it and clip me round the ear.

All good fun...I may start a diary thread in the Gallery board...from shit up to shiny clean!  May be a long diary post though...Captains Log Star Date 2010 ;-)

Thanks buddy....I do have the original cans with the bike as well as ther T-t-t-t-t-termi's!  Noisy things they are...

I was thinking of putting a set of Scorpions on...as I think they sounds fucking fab on twins...my SV, and my mates SP-2 thought they sounded brill and a great price too...Enquiring tomorrow how much a set will be, and whether they come with link pipes etc.

Akky do a system as well, but its well overpriced...its almost makes Termi's look cheap.

This weekend is D-Day as its clean up time...so we'll see what happens then!
