I have seen else where on other forums they have donation buttons and some even have compulsory fees...

if this forum did have one would you donate ...

Now I don't want to go down the road of charging for use of this forum it was free yesterday free today and hopefully will always be free.

If there was a donation button it will purely be a kitty fund for future track days and for forum P*ss ups.

well this forum barely cost me anything.... I mean if I were to get charged full price it would be quite pricey server hosting in a data centre for my server would be 75 quid a month but its the perks of my job I get it next to nothing... so I share the love so to speak....

But I do love a good event and it would be good to make a name for this forum for having good events.... and well although it may seem like it riding a nice 10R that I am loaded, unfortunately I am not...

So donations to go towards ZX10R events would be great.

I love club events and trackdays etc. If we organise events then just do a payment when we know some details.

The forum is not established enough and we dont know each other for a kitty to be sensible.

Well you know my thoughts on this, Donations for track days/ stuff etc  ok brill.......

Problem is members need to see something happening, also newbies wont pay anything as other sites out there are free??

Ive already been down this road and for me it worked out in other ways, but for some they wont be interested.

i would donate to a good site to ensure odds and sodds happen, but the door needs to swing both ways if you follow.

yeah I see what you are saying...... this is all good feedback at the end of the day I am like a good DJ... (definintion of a good DJ: one that will play the crowd and make sure the crowd enjoy there selves).......  all I want to do is make sure this place is some where people want to be.

maybe something to think about when we have had a few successful events...

if we could see the balance of funds and a mark against those who  donated to maybe create some BBQ's in the summer or similar as well as track event then yes it's certainly a good idea in my book, it's be good to meet each other I reckon

..... Heeerm ? ...... very interesting topic !  In many way I think Majic's  got  few fair points    I'm unlikely to get to any track-days, mainly through fear of

embarrassment or lobbin'it down the road.....  other events ? possibly ?

I wouldn't however, object to lobbin'-in a couple quid or so,  for a worthy cause . . . . ?  . . . what ever that maybe.... The Air Ambulance... Paramedic Rapid
