Yeah John, I got rid of the Dunlops on the old one, and fitted BT014s, (although ironically, this was the cause of my first off...The old "New tyre, turn right, spin up, fall off routine". What a tit)! I agree with you though, these Corsa 3's are pretty damn good. A mate of mine has been using them on his Gixxer, and he swears by them as well.

Talking about the front end, I had a ZX6 for a day while my bike was in for service last year, and the front end on that was fantastic. The new 10 reminds me very much of that. I am definitely more confident on this one too. Amazing the difference 3 years makes. Just hoping I can get out on it this afternoon before the shitty weather arrives tonight.

Drew, it would be good to hear how you get on with fitting the full Venture Shield kit to this one, I know you said fitting it to the 07 was easy enough. Does the tank kit include protection for the small panels underneath, or just the tank itself?

Yeah they have gone leaps and bounds with tire technology over the last few years. Noticed fast had the top of the range super corsa's on his. As you say these 3's are good, god knows how good these supercorsa's are. Would be a bit worried as to whither they would heat up quickly enough in these scottish roads though, lol.
Drew is probably busy as we speak coating his baby with venture shield (bike I am talking about!!).
hoping he will post up pics of that new MRA screen.
I think Scotland has been blessed with the good weather mate, what a day here today. looks good for the foreseeable future too.
I have one more day at home, then off to Norway next week for meetings.

Not been as bad down here, (Bournemouth),  as they forecast. peed down overnight, but sunny most of today. I have got another couple of weeks at home, then probably off to Japan til August. I work on cableships, and do 8 weeks on, then 8 weeks off. Just trying to find a way to get the other 6 months of the year off and still get paid

I work for Transocean, Drilling contractors, do IT/comms stuff roving around mainly Africa.
I am due to go to Nigeria in a few weeks then probably Namibia to setup shipyard office.
I am suppose to be equal time 4 on 4 off but never works out like that, but over the year probably 6 months off

Enjoy Norway, I work for a company called Global Marine Systems, and was working up there last summer putting a cable in for Statoil, from their "Norne" supply facility, (Converted tanker semi permanently connected to a submerged buoy and supplying oil to other tankers), to a place called Bronnoysund. Nice little place, but 5 quid a pint was a bit steep! They are also inviting me to pay Norwegian tax for the time I was up there, even sent me a tax return.....Me thinks they can go whistle, at least while I am safely based in Asia!
