Anybody got any suggestions re. insuring bikes in Spain.
Goin' out there to live and will be takin' the 10R over in a few months.

Mapfre are the biggest insurer there but it is VERY expensive unless your on the mainland. You will also have to put the bike through the rematricualtion and ITV ( re-reg and MOT). Depending on where you are the will be a load of ex-pat businesses catering to the ex-pats living there - as most are too ignorant to learn the language and deal with the locals [whistle]
I lived there for 12 yrs. Let me know where you're going and I'll ask the missus where all her mates are hiding B-)

I noticed a distinct lack of litre bikes in dealers last year on holiday in Spain. The sales guy confirmed that they dont sell many due to the cost of insuring them. :icon_thumright:
