Hi hope you're all well
i'm carl and I just got a 10r(08) incase you didn't gather from username ;-) On my third 10 now, liked first one, hated 2nd (apart from motor) and absolutely love the new one and it's not even run in.  Not get chance to ride out much due to instructing most weekends. But ride it everyday all weathers commuting etc. Hopin to get more time to ride out now especially as girlfriend picked her 08 R1 up at same time :icon_thumleft:.

Can't believe you hated the 06/07 (I assume thats the one you meant 2nd).....but I'll forgive you your blasphemy!

Big Up Respeck to the your chick with the R1....thats a girl who got game!

Personally I like the fact my missus don't ride....means when I'm out on the bike I'm with my boys...no oestrogen anywhere in sight.

Maybe i Used the wrong words didn't hate it :-S, love looks an engine, but didn,t gell with it. I'm by no means fast rider or owt but i couldn't get confident on it even after twelve months, and now i've got the new one it just highlighted how uncomfortable I was with it.
