I offered to teach my sister how to drive..... I'd not long bought a nice new car and I was about 23 (so about 7 years ago).

She had driven my first care (a mini) when I was 17 and thought it would be fine...she sits in the driver seat....made all the right movements etc....and then took the handbrake off....missed the brake hit the accelrator and drove head first into my mates brand new transit van.  Very close to writing  the fucking thing off....my nice shiny civic....airbags deployed, bonnet flipped onto the roof...front end wiped out!  :emb:  :-(

Now...I just help her pay for her driving lessons now...cheaper in the long run!
