the reason a asked is a have gixer 600 wanting to upgrade to a thou .but a keep hearing horror stories about them.a think personally they the best out there and a wud be looking at a o4 o5 plate a just wanted sum advice

i bet the horror stories come from those who have never ridden one and are too scared to try. ive had a gixxer 1000 and an R1 and my 10 beats them everytime just for pure excilleration ( is that how you spell it?? ) not forgetting the immense power you have in your right hand, it makes you feel like a riding god everytime you go out on it and ive never yet come back from a ride without a smile on my face. go for the 06/07 model it will save you buying a steering damper and there the fastest especially in black!

hiya mate.. where are you based? my dealer Cradley Kawasaki have  2 05's in green and both look like they just come out the crate! absoloutely mint.. with brand new tyres on them. they do that to all thier used bikes..

I found that when I was thinking about getting a 10 most people who were dishing out the horror stories had never even ridden one. I have had R1's, Fireblades, Mille R's and after much deliberation and advice seeking I decided to just get one and see for myself.
Best thing I ever did, Black 06 model, I fookin love it!!
